Tips for organizing clothes after washing

Organizing clothes after washing keeps them ready to wear and saves time during the week. Make sure every piece is fully dry, then sort items by type: everyday wear, home clothes, formal pieces, and linens.

Fold shirts and cotton garments on a flat surface. Use padded hangers for dresses and jackets, place heavier items on lower shelves, and leave a little space between garments for ventilation.

Keep items that need ironing or repair in a separate basket. At the end of each season, store unused pieces in clean, dry bags without over-compressing them.
